Client Responsibilities
When working with us, you agree to:

• Timely Communication: Respond to requests for feedback, content, or approvals in a timely manner.
• Content Ownership: Ensure you have the right to use any content (text, images, logos) you provide for your website.
• Payment: Pay for services according to the agreed-upon terms in your project agreement.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure your website content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Intellectual Property
Our Work: Upon full payment, you will own the custom website we create for you, including custom code and design elements created specifically for your project.
Third-Party Assets: Your website may include third-party assets (fonts, icons, stock images) which are subject to their own licenses. We will inform you of any licensing requirements.
Our Portfolio: We reserve the right to display your completed website in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Pre-Existing Materials: Any tools, frameworks, or code libraries we use that existed before your project remain our property or the property of their respective owners.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in your project proposal or agreement. Generally:
• A deposit is required before work begins.
• Final payment is due upon project completion, before the website goes live.
• Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of services.
• All fees are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.
Specific payment terms, including amounts and schedules, will be outlined in your project agreement.
Project Changes and Cancellation
Changes: Requests for changes outside the original project scope may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments. We will discuss any changes with you before proceeding.
Cancellation: If you need to cancel a project:
• Work completed up to the cancellation date will be billed.
• Deposits are generally non-refundable as they cover initial planning and design work.
• We will provide you with any completed work upon final payment.
Warranties and Limitations
Our Commitment: We strive to deliver high-quality websites that meet the specifications agreed upon in your project agreement.
Limitations:
• We do not guarantee specific business results (traffic, sales, rankings) from your website.
• We are not responsible for content you provide or third-party services integrated into your site.
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for services.
Website Information: The content on our website is for general information purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about completeness or reliability.
Hosting and Maintenance
If you use our hosting services:
• We will make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and security.
• We perform regular backups but recommend you maintain your own backups as well.
• We reserve the right to suspend hosting for non-payment or violation of these terms.
• Hosting fees and terms will be specified in your service agreement.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:
• Violates these Terms of Service
• Is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
• Violates any applicable law or regulation
Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
